Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Internet terhadap Perilaku Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Satap Bulango Utara

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of using the internet as a learning resource on students learning behavior in the Social Sciences subject at SMP Negeri 2 Satap Bulango Utara. The study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of the school. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, in which the entire population was selected as the sample. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study revealed that the use of the internet as a learning resource had a positive and significant influence on students' learning behavior in the Social Sciences subject at SMP Negeri 2 Satap Bulango Utara, accounting for 23,6% of the variance. This finding indicates that the better the utilization of the internet as a learning resource, the better the students' learning behavior. Internet use contributed to improvements in students' learning behavior, while the remaining 76,4% was influenced by other factors or residual variables not examined in this study.
